Moshe Wein
Rehovot, Israel
Hi, I'm Moshe! My life is full of changes (in a good way...) but the most meaningful day to day change in the last number of years was working at the Ministry of Agriculture, where I was always seeking ways to promote Israeli agriculture in Israel and worldwide. This made me an excellent civil servant by doing good and helping Israeli agriculture and all citizens. I believe in creating and helping people find and develop their community, making it the "best place" after home for each of them. It doesn't matter if one is a full time participant or a once a year participant. Each Jew should have a community that is their second "best place." As a child, I lived overseas for a number of years and I have a deep connection with Diaspora Jewry. After my army service I served as a shaliach (emissary) for Torah M'tzion in New York, which was an unforgettable experience. I also love to write, read and spend time with the people I love (in normal life before Covid-19).
