Born in Australia, a citizen of Israel, Canada and the US, Eilat moved to Minneapolis with husband, Noam Harel, in 2000.
While bringing Israel to the community is an important goal, introducing world Jewry to Israelis is just an important as, “At the end of the day, we are Am Echad,” (one nation).
The quote, “A Jew is asked to take a leap of action rather than a leap of faith“, is what motivates her in all the work, projects and collaborations she works on both on a local and global level.
Eilat enjoys nature, good books and movies with their two (grown up) kids, Ely and Lia – and sometimes the two cats join as well.
